It's been two weeks since the referendum was approved.
So now what?
June 2012
The Lyme Town Campus Center Planning Committee will have its next meeting on Thursday, June 7. Working with the architect, they will begin creating the construction documents.
While there has been some fundraising, efforts will be accelerated now that the project has been approved. The goal is to raise at least $1 million.
Fall 2013
Fundraising will have been completed.
The town will hire a construction company.
Construction will begin on the library. Plans are to build the new library first. As many town activities as possible will move into the old library building while the town hall is renovated. Once the town hall is finished, the old library will be razed.
